Pack HQ ("we", "us") provides software that Cub Scout packs use to manage finances, events, fundraisers, and family communication. This policy explains what information we collect through the Pack HQ website and app, and how it's used.
We use this information to operate the pack's account: showing balances, processing payments, sending event and message notifications, and providing support. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Within a pack, information is visible to that pack's leaders and treasurers as needed to run pack operations, and to a family's own account for their own scouts. We share data with service providers who help us operate Pack HQ — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and cloud hosting and database services — solely to provide the service, under their own privacy and security obligations. We don't share data across packs, and we don't sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Pack HQ is used by adults (parents and pack leaders) to manage information about scouts. Scout information is entered by a parent or leader, not collected directly from a child, and is only used to run that scout's pack account (dues, events, advancement). A parent can ask their pack leadership or contact us to review, correct, or remove their scout's information.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We keep account and financial records for as long as a pack is active on Pack HQ, and as needed afterward for recordkeeping. You can request deletion of your account or your family's information by contacting us below, subject to what a pack reasonably needs to keep for its own financial records.
Questions about this policy, or requests about your information, can be sent through our support page.
